Peter Robertson has been an itinerant preacher since the beginning of 1993, following 12 years local church pastoring and bible college teaching.

Before entering the ministry in 1979, he worked from 1969 as a journalist and subeditor for a variety of media, including New Zealand’s largest daily metropolitan newspaper, The New Zealand Herald.

Peter and his wife Penny (a nurse and librarian), are based at the River of Life Church in Auckland, New Zealand.

To Whom It May Concern,

It gives me great pleasure to recommend to you the person and the ministry of Peter Robertson.

Peter is a genuine, servant-hearted, anointed minister of the gospel in this nation. He has been gifted with a strong prophetic mantle and an outstanding preaching and teaching ministry. Every time he visits us here at The River, he always leaves a great deposit of God among our people - our church loves Peter!

In addition to his preaching ministry, Peter is also the author of numerous books and articles - all of which carry the mark of the Spirit speaking to the churches. Peter has a unique "big picture" view that I believe is vital for local churches to connect with. His sharp insight combined with a great sense of humour makes his books challenging but accessible.

There are not many itinerant ministers like Peter. As a church leader, I'm immensely grateful to him as one who has shared my heart for the church and worked not to bring his own agenda, but to see what God is building in the church and put his hand to the plough along with me. I have been with him as he has ministered in other churches, and his heart remains the same - to support the leadership of the local church as they pursue God's mandate as a fellowship.

Peter has been a close friend for many years, and he is one who not only talks the talk but also walks the walk. His abandonment to God and steadfast devotion to, and proclamation of, what the Lord has promised are inspirational. He truly is a blessing to this nation.

I honestly and heartily endorse Peter's ministry to your local church leadership. His ministry will stir you, provoke you, encourage you and challenge you. You need this man in your church.

Re: Peter Robertson

I am writing to introduce and endorse Peter Robertson and his ministry.

We have him minister in our church at least twice a year. During these times he ministers not only to our local congregation, but because our Sunday evening service is a place that people come to from around the city, his ministry is received by many others also.

God has used him strategically for our church on many occasions. The foundational ministry of the prophet is equipping and stabilising. It is essential that the role of the Prophet is embraced in the NZ church.
Peter has a good delivery style and is always practical in application. This gives people the ability to grasp things for their lives. God uses him wonderfully to change ‘status quo’ thinking.

Peter flows powerfully in the Anointing and many lives of all ages have been radically changed by his ministry. His relentless pursuit of revival for New Zealand has been both inspiring and challenging to many.

He has written a number of books. These have been focused on God moving in our nation. His book “Letters to a Young Prophet” is extremely helpful in the way it brings insight into how a prophet should live and function. Peter is one of the few people in NZ that I feel operates well in the office of the Prophet. He loves getting alongside leaders to encourage, offer insight and generally support them in their God given calling.

Peter and Penny (his wife) have invested much into the purposes of God in our nation and I thank God for their sacrifice and diligence.

I am privileged to call Peter friend and co-worker in Christ. I recommend him to you.

To Whom It May Concern,

I am privileged to acknowledge the long and valued relationship this church has with Peter Robertson and to endorse his ministry wholeheartedly.

Peter Robertson is a leading prophetic voice to our nation, and has a demonstrably proven history of national and personal prophetic sharpness and accuracy.

Peter is also a gifted teacher and writer and has an ability to impart big picture vision through his working knowledge of Church History coupled to his Biblical insight, revelation on things to come and his love for and moment by moment relationship with the Holy Spirit.
